Privacy policy

Last updated: 19 September 2026

This policy explains what personal information this site collects, why, where it is stored, and the rights you have. It is written to comply with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

1. Person responsible for personal information

The person responsible for the protection of personal information for this site is Thomas-Alexandre Daigle.

For any question about this policy or to exercise your rights, write to: ta.daigle@hotmail.com.

2. Information we collect

Account: your email address, when you create an account. Authentication and passwords are handled by our authentication provider (Supabase); we never store your password.

Saved searches and favourites: when you save a trip, we keep the criteria of the matching search (budget, dates, departure city, number of travellers, trip type, accessibility needs) and a frozen copy of the options shown at that moment.

Sensitive information: the accessibility needs you check may reveal information about your health. We only collect them if you enter them, solely to filter results, and only persistently if you choose to save the search.

Technical logs: like any website, our host temporarily keeps server logs (IP address, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention.

3. Purposes and consent

The information is used only to: authenticate you, display and manage your saved searches and favourites, and protect the service against abuse.

By creating an account and saving a search, you consent to this collection and use. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your favourites or your account (see Your rights).

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling or resale.

4. Hosting and storage location

The database and authentication service are hosted by Supabase in a region located in Montreal (Canada). Your account, search and favourite information is therefore stored in Canada.

The site itself (pages and application programming interfaces) is hosted by Vercel. Vercel offers no compute region in Canada: pages are served from servers located in the United States, and traffic passes through its global delivery network. The information you entrust to us remains stored in Canada, with Supabase; Vercel's servers only process requests in transit.

This processing outside Quebec means that the authorities of the country where those servers are located may, in certain circumstances provided for by their laws, require access to the information passing through them. The only information concerned is the temporary technical logs mentioned above; no account, saved search or favourite data is stored there.

5. Retention period

Your account information, saved searches and favourites are kept for as long as your account exists.

If you delete a favourite, the associated search and copy of options are deleted immediately. If you delete your account, all of your information is removed from our database.

6. Sharing with third parties

Providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (authentication and database). They act on our instructions and do not use your information for their own purposes.

Data sources queried to produce results: OpenStreetMap / Overpass (places and accessibility) and the Travelpayouts / Aviasales flight data API. These requests contain no information that could identify you (for example city coordinates, dates and a budget, never your email).

Affiliate links: as of today, no monetisation is active. The "Book" buttons lead directly to the provider (Aviasales, Hotellook), with no affiliate identifier and no commission. If an affiliate programme is turned on later, the links concerned will carry an affiliate identifier, a notice will say so under each link, and this policy will be updated beforehand.

In every case, following one of these links takes you to the provider's own site, which then applies its own privacy policy; we never pass your identity along to them.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your information, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to withdraw your consent, and to receive a copy of the information you provided to us.

Most of these rights can be exercised directly in the application: the Favourites page shows your saved searches and options, lets you remove them one by one, and lets you delete your account and all your data.

For any other request, or if you believe your rights have not been respected, write to the person indicated in section 1. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

8. Cookies and session

We use only cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in. They are not used for advertising tracking.

To measure traffic, we use Vercel Web Analytics, our host's tool. It sets no cookies and keeps no identifier that could recognize you from one visit to the next. It records the page viewed, the site you came from, your country and your type of device, browser and operating system, in aggregated form. These statistics are processed in the United States (see section 4) and are used only to learn which pages are useful.

9. Security and confidentiality incidents

Exchanges with the site use HTTPS. Access to information is restricted by authentication and by server-side checks.

In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious harm, we will notify you and the Commission d'accès à l'information, as required by Law 25.

10. Changes to this policy

We may change this policy. The update date at the top of the page indicates the latest version. Significant changes will be flagged in the application.
